Match preview; So we go into this on the back of a disappointing weekend, losing 2-0 to Bristol City, whilst Swansea won 3-2 at home to Preston. This leaves them in 4th with 2 wins and a draw, and us in 13th position with a win, a draw and a loss. I'll post more team news when/if it goes on the official. Obviously discuss your thoughts below. It's worth noting though, I have just got back from a week in south Wales, stunning beaches and countryside, then we spent a day in Swansea. Win, lose or draw, just be grateful you don't live in Swansea. From the official, FOLLOWING Saturday’s defeat at Bristol City, the R’s will be hoping to bounce back this week, with Welsh outfit Swansea City providing the first of three tests that QPR will face in W12 in the next seven days. Mark Warburton’s side will be looking to use home advantage at Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium to continue their good start to the season and return to winning ways. Wednesday’s opponents, Swansea, have started the season in fine form, picking up seven points from a possible nine. They ran out 2-1 winners in their last game at home to Preston North End on Saturday. This season, the Swans will be hoping to return to the Premier League after two years away from England’s top division. Team news QPR: Olamide Shodipo (knock), Lee Wallace (hip). Swansea City: Nathan Dyer (hamstring), Tom Carroll (hip). Pre-match words QPR manager Mark Warburton: “Swansea pose a real threat and we will have to defend our goal with a real passion. But, likewise, we have got a real attacking impetus ourselves. We possess some really good, attack-minded players, good quality, energy and intensity. We have to use it.” Swansea City manager Steve Cooper: “I am expecting a good, technical game. QPR have played well so far this season but we will be ready for it and have a plan to win. It’s a game we are looking forward to.”
I'd love to know which idiot at the EFL reviewed the fixture list and decided it made sense for Rangers to play Swansea at home on the same night that Fulham were entertaining Millwall at Craven Cottage. Stay safe guys. Surprised the Police didn't have something to say about it.
Was in Swansea about 10 days ago, for a few hours, and also very glad that's all I've seen of the place. I feel sorry for those who are there permanently...

Returning to footy matters, it will be intetresting to see what team Mark Warburton selects for his starting eleven against Swansea. Based on the "second goal defensive mix-up" and the "competition for places" policy, I wolud not be surprised to see two changes of Kelly (for Lumley) in goal and Kane (for Rangel) at right back. The Rangel choice is made much more difficult against his former club where I recall he played a great match last season. Let's see what MW decides to do!
Good thing you put this thread up Dave - I was thinking that the game was tonight I guess I would've realised when I couldn't get in....
