My kids used to watch that **** too.
They also sit watching other people playing games that they have and could be playing themselves. I don't get it.
I tell my son to switch his ****ing Xbox off and he picks up the iPad to watch some loser **** who hasn’t left his bedroom for three years playing the game he’s just switched off. So I take him to the nets to get some exercise and fresh air.
The money in YouTube is insane mate. Not sure people realise just how rich some of these ****ers are, that basically do **** all.
You get approx £5 per 1000 views, through the adverts that YouTube put on the videos. Plus, various other streams of money such as merchandise and links to purchase items in their description.
It basically totals a **** load of money. If they make 1 video a week that hit 5mil views they're loaded... the crazy thing is they make 1 video a day, sometimes 2.
Theres a channel that does stories with stick people, extremely basic and average content. The person behind it cleared 50k a week last year. Its astonishing how much money is behind YouTube. As soon as you find a niche you're set for life.
It's that niche though...what could it be. I mean there's plenty stupid people in this World so there's got to be something I can fool them with
There's a 15 year old lad my son vaguely knows who is a well known gamer. He posts a lot of YouTube vids and gets between 100k-1million views per video. He's funding his family nowadays. Rumours of £250k per annum from YouTube. Prize money on top of that.
That's the adsense money alone. Like you say if you add in prize money, other advertising etc. it adds up to a **** load of money.
Adsense works by giving you a certain amount of cash per 1000 views. The exact amount depends where the viewers come from. For example German views may give you $4 per 1000 views and Australian views may give you $15 per 1000.

It doesn't even have to be too much of a niche. The amount of people ditching TV to watch YouTube is insane.
Any topic that can get 100k views per video and you can easily quit your day job.
You know my plan, looked into it loads, and loads. I'm absolutely convinced I can fund my plan easily via YouTube.

My nieces went to a massive you tuber event at the docklands arena last week. I don't get it at all.
