Transfer values are also based on the potential recruiting club.

All of Liverpool's front three feature in the top 10, with Sadio Mane sixth and Roberto Firmino ranked eighth
1. Kylian Mbappe (PSG) £230m

2. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £200m

3. Raheem Sterling (Man City) £190m

4. Lionel Messi (Barcelona) £153m
5. Jadon Sancho (B. Dortmund) £145m

6. Sadio Mane (Liverpool) £144m

7. Harry Kane (Tottenham) £143m

8. Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) £132m
9. A. Griezmann (Barcelona) £131m

10. Leroy Sane (Man City) £125m
Premier League stars make the majority of the top 10 with Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane and Manchester City's Leroy Sane also featuring, while there is a space in fifth for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho with the England international's value just £8m less than Messi's.

Antoine Griezmann, who moved to Barcelona from Atletico Madrid for £105m this summer has already seen his value increase by over £25m to make him the ninth most valued player.

Outside of the top 10, Paul Pogba and Neymar (both £114m) are ranked 16th and 17th respectively, but below Philippe Coutinho and Romelu Lukaku.

Just a thought........is it possible that Lovren was part of a swap deal that didn't happen? Meaning we wouldn't be a CB down.

Nahh..........windows closed. Can we still loan players?........probably not

Given that Neymar is being valued at £100m PLUS Coutinho, you have to question the logic of these lists.

After a quiet summer in the transfer window, Liverpool have just signed another star Scouser to an extension, keeping him at Anfield for five more years. That player is of course, midfielder Curtis Jones.

Roma are set to turn their attentions to Man United defender Marcos Rojo are reportedly missing out on a deal for Liverpool ace Dejan Lovren.

According to Goal, Lovren’s proposed move to Roma isn’t going to happen this summer, with negotiations between the two clubs regarding a deal for the Croatian being put to a stop recently.

Was madness to sell without a decent replacement anyway.
