My Grandad used to smoke a pipe, it was like sitting next to a smouldering hedgerow when he had it going full bore.

 

Same, I used to love watching him clean it. It was a precious item that nobody was allowed to touch. Loved the smell of good Tabacco.

 

So when did you last see someone smoking a pipe?

It's been many a year since i last seen or smelled one.

Used to love the smell.

Thought they had been put in the history books.

 

Stop vaping all together mate.

If you vape and smoke you may as well forget vaping at a later date to quit the ***s.

 

Used to smoke one when I went fishing durng the 70's. Erimore was my brand, stepped on it whilst catching a whopper, broke it in half and never smoked another.

 

I honestly can’t remember mate. Used to be fairly standard for old boys when I was a kid. These days you just don’t see them, unless they’ve got green in them.......or crack.

Didn't like the smell of pipe tobacco, made me feel like throwing up.

 

I’m pretty certain that it’s now the law that you must be sporting a grey beard in order to buy one.

 

All through my life i've stopped and started. I actually smoke more now as it's a release on breaks to get outside. Sadly it's had a knock on effect and i smoke more.

 

but when did you last see one?

 

Can't even remember, my local newsagents used to sell them but he closed down. So years ago.

 

must be way over a decade since i last saw someone smoking a pipe.

 

Yeah, probably more than that.

 

It's definitely something that needs bringing back. Haven't seen one being smoked in forever.
