So how many British millionaires own one of top 30 or clubs in England (and Wales)? For a lot of the foreign owners it's the status part of it that's appealing to them, and all of that would move to the Super league. There's very little money made by the majority of these owners. Like I said I agree that a new top 4/6 would eventually but the gap between say a West Ham and Saints just simply would never reach the size of the gap between Man United and Brighton.
If the league became popular and the revenue was there it would grow. I could be wrong, no expert on these matters.
I don't see why it would gain the same level of popularity though. Are those in Asia really gonna watch ( or even be interested in) Saints v Norwich over City vs Bayern for example? Now now luvvy none of us are experts but when has stopped us before
