Yeah I know what you mean about keeping history going. Since I gave up my ST, other people have generally picked up tickets for me or I've purchased them on match day, but I made a point for the first home game of getting the tickets myself in advance, so that it keeps my history for any cup games going. Because generally rule of thumb is ST's then History. Problem is with purchasing tickets on match day, they don't allocate them to your account. Problem is our ground only holds around 10.5k....so if you get a good cup game, 3k (max) of those tickets will go to away support. That leaves 7.5k, but we have probably 3k ST Holders this season due to the reduced pricing, most of the decent seats in the Rainham End centre blocks have already been taken by them. That then only leaves 4.5k tickets available but that could be anywhere in the house. To get a decent place in the RE, you have to be pretty much on the ball and know the block layouts and the higher the better. I always preferred the away games because the vocal support is far better, but it gets too much the older you get
Don't think Newcastle will be as bad as some think under Bruce. Fancy them to cause that Arsenal defence issues.
**** knows which game to watch first.. I was going watch Arsenal but Luiz is on the bench so it might not be that amusing. Tempted to watch Wolves vs Lesta. What game you lot watching?
Looks like that Ozil incident was definitely related to a Turkish issue. More than likely to do with Erdogan being his best man as @PleaseNotPoll hinted at https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-49309280
Gonna miss the game this afternoon as I have to take my daughter to a kids party. Took her on a 5 mile walk this morning hoping to wear her out so that she'd just want to chill and watch cartoons, but she's still up for it ....
That's just pure cl money too. The sponsorship, global recognition etc isn't in the calculated champs league money. Lastly you had a few good chances and opportunities before eriksen came on but looked very pedestrian. There was kanes free header at end of the first half, mouras header at the beginning, walkers pieters whilst looking fairly solid had loads of space but never really took advantage and who can forget sissoko was in some very good positions including the one who blasted out for a throw in lol.
It’s really a bet on United being **** rather than you being good. And I convinced myself Pedro was a FF bargain.
Under strength line up for us this afternoon. But good to see Emery putting faith in Willock and Nelson. Going to be a tough game without so many first choice players, but this will show us how good our squad depth is. please log in to view this image
Pedro is an FF bargain. Not sure he will play week in week out though else i would have got him myself
Don't really care who wins out of Newcastle v Arsenal but wouldn't mind seeing Bruce get off to a good start, then watching the Arsenal fans have a melt-down
I sense that @Hoddle Is A God the wum master will be on later tonight, just to remind us of how shhite Arsenal are.
