kind disappointed with lack of Lukaku replacement
we struggled at back and at front too scoring goal .. we sort one problem but not 2nd one
I think our youngsters are bright but is already a young attacking 3 we have upfront
will be tough to be in top4 without a markee striker ..

Alexis Sanchez?

You've then got Rashford, Martial and Greenwood.

No number 9 admittedly but we should still be able to get goals.

6 PL deal sheets submitted so surely you'll sign at least 1, possibly 2?

I love these transfer windows - they're full of ****e. We're in for this player, that player, snubbed by everyone from Neymar to Eyore - and on whose say-so. All this unsubstantiated crap is fed into news media as click bait for ******s and people with nothing better to do than watch Sky Sports between loan shark ads at ten in the morning. No ****er on earth knows what any club is after - nobody in the media that is (plus Woodward), but still these hacks come in day by day with crap like - 'a source close to the club' or 'Sky Sports sources tell us". The clubs themselves have neither the time or the inclination to come out each time a rumour appears to quash it, so the media frenzy - all of it's own making, feeds off itself.

We've done good business. Ole will keep some of the deadwood until he sees how we're progressing towards the winter window. If more need to go - so be it, if we need players in, fine, it's a re-building exercise, it will take several windows to complete.

As an outsider im surprised. I was expecting man united to go nuts . How is this sitting with the fans ? Are spirits high .. good pre season results ateast

No idea what he meant, it makes no sense at all!

I'm ok with our signings, although I agree there has been plenty of hysterical social media outrage from so called United fans.

It's just nonsense. We've done a windows worth of transfers and if we need more in January then I would assume we will do more.

If Pogba gets his head straight and plays well then midfield isn't actually that bad.

If he doesn't though, it's not looking good there I admit. At least now with a decent centre half partnership we don't have to have three at CM all playing a defensive role.

Despite all the fanfare - de Gea has yet to sign his new contract - European window still open until September. Just saying..............
We should sell him! I have zero tolerance for players holding the club at ransom. Especially, if the basis for the gridlock is to earn more than Sanchez. If he doesn't want to sign and holding out to leave on a free, it is best to get rid of him now along with Sanchez (if his head is still not straight). We can then structurally reduce the foolishly high wage bill that yields poor return when you look at the performances over the years of chasing stars. Doing that will give us room to make smart acquisitions in the near future and with smart contracts that are incentivized hansomely purely on performance.
