Yes, it should be a tricky game and a genuine reality check of our team as Huddersfield will really want to win the match after their “surprise” defeat in the opening match.

I would play the same starting eleven as against Stoke. Would anyone propose any changes?
Lumley may be at risk due his sloppy work on crosses, and Scowen had a mediocre game too, and perhaps Pugh or Chair will replace him. Possibly too he wont want to play Cameron and Angel too much, and Smith or Ball may come into defensive midfield, and Kane at RB if they are ready. Maybe though he'll leave changing anything to the League Cup next week, apart from any necessitated by injury.

Oslo a good point regarding Scowen. I expect the goalie change to occur for the League Cup game and that Lumley will stay between the posts for this one. Thus there may be a change after the Bristol City match.

As for the others, let's wait and see what Warburton will do. I believe that he will tweek the team in line with the oppostion. As Hudderfield will try to play a passing games, so expect to see high energy players in midfield to press and close them down.

50+ mph winds forecast for Saturday afternoon. I don't recall a game being called off for gales in recent years but it might be a problem if the under maintained stands can't cope with the weather. Assuming the game does go ahead it will be interesting to see how Warburton plans to cope with the conditions. Certainly the short passing game he favours will be an advantage.

Kent jnr will be making his 1st trip to hq Saturday he’s 6. I know I’m cruel but my dad did it to me and I’ve learned to accept life’s disappointments through QPR.
I’m hoping after Stoke I don’t turn out to be a jinx.
Due to a mix up in my calendar Kent jnr wont be going this week and as I wont be there either so we're going to win.

Can't go tomorrow. Have one adult's ticket to spare in the Upper Loft. Good view, above the goal. Could arrange for somebody to collect it from the Box Office. Let me know asap. Tks.

P.S. I am giving the ticket away, no money required. Just to add, I need to know before 5pm today in order to ring the Box Office. Will be out working all night.

OK looks like there are no takers. I have to go to work now for the night so the ticket offer is off the table unfortunately.

I wouldn't be dropping anyone yet especially after one game, and a victory at that. Don't want to set the tombola in motion this early.

As I haven't seen many of this summers 15 signings play, I have little idea if he should be making changes or not.

What? 35 here and getting cold
I dream of the wind
Eze at home will be enough super cool player 2-0 Rs

I understand not to change a winning team but some things were still not right from last week .

Our performance was promising and much to be praised , but ....

We had lack of width on the left which cost us going forwards and defending late on.

Also lumley was far from impressive. Our style has changed and his distribution needs to improve. Also his inability at gathering crosses is awful .

Lastly don’t

QPR will win this. We’re utterly ****e and we’ve just sent our best player off on loan for the season. Nothin to worry about for yous and fully expecting you to beat us 2 or 3-0. Safe travels to anyone going.

One player doth not make a team Schindler's Lift. We have a complete squad of new bargain basement players. Intriguing. I fear you may return on here tomorrow evening, posssibly gloating.

No, but our manager is bloody useless and has managed 1 win in his 16 games in charge. I hope you’re right.
