His personal income from image rights would go through the roof if he signed for United as well, he’d earn a pittance in comparison for Spurs.

Perhaps he's prepared to take half the salary that United offered, in order to play under Poch?

I had smoked salmon, chargrilled vegetables, ricotta stuffed peppers and potato salad, with spring water on the side.

We woz prepared to pay facking loads of wonga to sign the lad but we woznt going to let him take us for a banch of facking mugs. Facking 200 large a week? Fack off. There’s a facking top drawer kid in our U18s who can do a job and we can roll him out for 5mil just after Boxing Day. Lavvly.
