Ralph Hasenhuttl averaged 1.24 points per match last season that's 47.12, lets say 48 for 38 games = 9th. Possible or probable? I'll take the optimistic view.
Did Ralph Krueger give a waffling so long farewell? Missed it if he did! Just occurred to me for some reason.
Rumour has it it's the reason for our lack of transfer activity. Poor Ross is still having to sit through the speech as Ralph K recites his teenage years.
For all the messages on forums that Bertie has never been interested or wanted away, he's still here. And that's despite having opportunities to go elsewhere. I remember the odd interview he made early in his Saints career, and how he would talk about feeling really settled within himself and the club. And most footballers don't talk like that at Saints. They talk about developing their career and just about leave out the bit where they are using Saints as a stepping stone. But I felt that he'd stick around and get regular football simply because he liked it that much at Saints. And Pierre might even have a similar thing about him.
Think you’re right. At first I thought it hadn’t taken into account returning loanees but Cedric is there. He did play for us in the first half of the season though
Just got tickets for the fans forum next Thursday. Can highly recommend from last year. Tickets £2 and they put on free bar! For those not going - if you have a decent question you would like asked just post here. Ralph, Hojbjerg, Martin Semmens and Toby Steele with Adam Blackmore hosting.
https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/...afemi-southampton-football-club-5-august-2019 Obafemi talking about being fit now and overcoming two injuries which have interrupted his Saints' career. His powerful but short physique means that he now has to prepare more carefully before games as he is prone to back and hamstring problems.
Came on at halftime vs Koln as a sub, then was hooked with 10 mins remaining to give Djneppo a run out, so I doubt he’ll feature strongly ........
