I see it a bit differently, not surprisingly. The fee for Maguire shows that there are now a growing number of clubs that won't just bend over when the Big Clubs come calling ... they have become financially independent and if they do sell it is on their terms rather than having to sell to balance the books - for me that is a real positive. How TV and rights monies are shared is a completely different issue and I do think that needs to be seriously addressed ...
