i just don't get it - a player that I watched at L1 level, not much more than 5 years ago, now worth £80M - speechless mate, just speechless at the stupidity levels that the game in this country has reached.

Personally, I do yes. Similar, not the same. Plenty scope to continue improving. Not sure the relevance though, VVD was signed by Liverpool 18 months ago, not at the same time. Prices are continuing to go up. Is Gareth Bale better than Ronaldo? Similar price tag so has to be seen as, right?
