The Dell was great, I went there watching United one Monday night, **** me the journey back was a ****. Also worked down there a while and went to a couple of games, one was Oldham Athletic, also a week night game. I kind of almost had the same accent in the away end that night, although that's where the similarity with any mutant from Oldham begins and ends.
Yeah I hate the fact that I'm too young for it really, went once as a kid but don't remember **** all. Would have loved to have gone while the chocolate boxes were there. And yeah **** that drive on a weeknight!
I like Paddy Power's deal with Huddersfield - they're sponsoring their shirts, with no logo. So every time you see a Huddersfield shirt with no logo, you're going to think "nice one PP".
It’s was great when it first opened. The firm I was working for, at that time, had season tickets from the very off, as did all of the commercial banks and developers I worked with. I attended “corporates” for practically every home game for around 4 seasons.
At the time, it was painful for me, but, in retrospect, we had to go through that **** to get to where we are now. We’ve been through your “legends back as manager” phase (Ossie and Hoddle), and we’ve got our academy and our new stadium, and I like where we’ve arrived at.
On the contrary that FA Cup game was a real thing of beauty. The win at WHL later on was pretty sweet too
