Word is that Netflix aren't buying STID 2, on account of them losing to Charlton. At least us lot will have the memories of their unsuccessful Turd Division campaign and their historic, nay, heroic Wembley defeat to Charlton. They really are dismal

That booing was ridiculous for a first day. This manager hasn't got long, once they get the scent of blood on Wearside, they rarely let it go. One or two bad results and he'll be gone. Not the end of the world, but I suppose the fans are probably a bit sick of making the third division look tough.
They made a big song and dance at the time about how our championship win was mickey mouse and was easy. To be fair if you look how we've made light work of the championship after both relegations, you can understand why they think they are a bit better than a Division 1 side. However they have no spent that much time down there, they look in the right place at this point in time.
Common sense says that club should be out of League 1 this season. If they retain this Wearside Jack character I'm not sure they will. He doesn't seem to understand the club. The thing with the mackems is if you get a bit of excitement and momentum into it, the fans will come back and they'll push you over the line. His drab and boring no lose football is not doing it. I know my mackem mates have gone from "give him time" to "not sure about this bloke".
