Kante had a release clause, Drinky couldn't get in the side and Mahrez was made to wait a further 12 months before we sold a player that cost us £450k for £60 million ... we are not talking Bale, Berbatov or Modric here mate ... our owners could teach Levy and Uncle Joe a thing or two ...<cheers>

Pool wanted VVD in the summer but Saints wouldn’t sell and made them wait til Jan.

Utd had to pay the Berbatov fee once City came in with an offer. We didn’t sell Modric to Chelsea and waited a year to sell to Madrid. We got a world record fee for Bale at the time.

Again, you’ve done nothing different to any other side when it comes to selling a player to a bigger team.

Only an element of wum ... but I'll put it in big letters if you are still missing the point I made at the outset ... if Maguire goes to United it will be mainly for his potential and addressing an identified need ... NOT for what he has yet achieved in the game ... EXACTLY the same as VVDs transfer to Liverpoool ... I backed that up by saying that Maguire may even have achieved more at this point than VVD had at the time he went to Liverpool ... you girls then collectively pissed yer stripey knickers and started and put me firmly in my place by quoting all of VVDs amazing achievements whilst with you ... the medals, the trophies, the world cup qualifiers, Great British Bake Off finalist ... I stand corrected and willingly and most humbly accept my shame <laugh>

I didn't stamp my feet mate, I just made my points of why I disagreed.

I only quoted his 'amazing achievements' as a response to you claiming top ten as an achievement and that he finished bottom half with us.

It was then that YOU got really upset that we pointed your faulty logic out and went on a rampage claiming rattled and rilmmers etc. rather than continuing to discuss your point.

We really could have avoided all this mate if you just admitted your **** up.

I disagree that Virgil was bought for his potential, he was already more than good enough to get into their side as evidenced by the difference he made immediately from joining.

I'm glad we're the biggest and bestest team in the world so that we don't have to go through all this.

I rarely get upset Libby ... and certainly not 'really upset' ... in contrast I have to admit to taking a little satisfaction in poking a stick into the not606 hive from time to time and watching how many angry wasps fly out ... shame we didn't get to meet up in Leicester ... a couple of hours with me and my cousins and you'd realise that I'm just one of a number of arseholes who love a bit of wind up banter and rarely take ourselves too seriously ... perhaps this season fella? <cheers>

PS can't argue with that last bit ... even I might have got in that Liverpool defence and I'm nearly 60 <whistle>

Enjoy your holiday with your family then ;)

I'm having a ball mate ... been around the pool since 7am your time interspersing reading my book and posting to you guys ... coffees until lunchtime and now waiting for the missus to come back from the fridge with a Desperado Red ... already had a couple of Kronenbourg 1664s ... to give you a better idea of what I'm really like her last words before getting off her sunbed were " just look at you grinning ... on Gayboy again are we?" ... it's what she calls this place ... can take some explaining if we are in a bar and I look at my phone and she says to the girls "your dad's on his Gayboy again" <cheers>

So a better idea of what you are really like is that you spend so much time on here your Mrs has a nickname for the place, one which makes you sound like a loser.

That's a really roundabout way of admitting you were taking ****e, but fair play.

Apology accepted <cheers>

Fosse has basically become the love child of hiag and matth

Hiags wit and humour and matths arguments and knowledge

... that would make you their grandkid Bobby... sorry to break it to you this way ... promised yer mam I'd look out for you but never let you know ... in that I failed ... you'll probably be relieved to know that you take more after the matth side of the family ... small consolation ( no offence Sky) I know ... but even so <ok>
