    A decade ago this week! Some of my greatest City memories from that trip. Had to be done, a one off lifetime experience

    Got the squitters real bad on that Peking jaunt.

    If you're measuring it by controllables, I was on about a a ten-second alert.Spent the flight back sat near the sheissenhausen ready to dump.

    Barium solutions for endoscopic purposes have a similar effect albeit more benign.

    Peking itself was a humid overcast dump with Tenamen Square overzealously policed by plain clothes OB.

    Unforgettable night at Danger Doyle's by the stadium with Duffen, PB , Simon Maltby and co. culminating in the local bamboo curtain twitchers calling in the Peking Plod to quieten the row. No chance. <laugh>
