This from the person that some people on here use as a "news" source.

put the quotes around "a." We know you are implying "the only." It is one of many sources. We can;t all just believe the Guardian Gospel or the saintly BBC and look no further.

Good to have you back Imps. Not seen you since an important of news broke and I've been waiting to see if you were one-sided in your views on it:

There is a furore over this. Were you all being outraged at the AfD MP who was recently brutally attacked and hospitalised?

Interesting that you haven't commented on the murder of a CDU politician when you were so enraged at our lack of concern for an AfDpolitician being hospitalised. I thought someone with your sensitivity and balance would have jumped on the story. Didn't Guido or Conservative Home report it?

Wow. trawl something out that I pointed out in reference to something someone else brought up.

As you know I have been working a lot of hours. Still am, but just looked in for a few pages (no need to go back further as it is just repeat, repeat.) and foolishly bit on one thing ;)

You know full well I was not "enraged." I was pointing out the hypocrisy of the side(s) only caring about their side while wishing ill on the other or plain ignoring similar or worse action directed at those who they oppose or blatantly saying "they deserve it."

As you also know full well I think any violence like this is bad no matter if it is those who I despise.

And no I had not heard about the murder of the CDU politician because..............not been reading the internet, don't buy papers, don't watch much TV anymore because I am working..............a lot of hours............in a **** job that ISIRTP openly stated that "we" are below.

...........although I took the day off today to watch Boris' speech.............Go Boris, whoop, whoop ;)

US President Donald Trump, speaking to a right-wing youth organisation in Washington DC, said Mr Johnson and Mr Farage would do "tremendous things" together.

What on earth is going on in the world when youth are being immersed in right-wing organisations? This is trully depressing in the extreme. In our day, we would start out on the left and gradually modify our feelings and thoughts until some of us became "Blair" babes. That is about as right-wing we can tolerate. Any further and you are encountering lunatic territory.

Its from a Turning Point meeting, not exactly Hitler Youth. they were set up for young conservatives at colleges where they feel their voices are not heard and not welcome by left wing students and professors

118 days to go for the spaffer Johnson to avoid becoming the shortest serving PM. (Edit : Lord Rockingham, whose second term lasted 96 days from 27 March 1782 until his death on 1 July 1782). I wonder what the odds are? One thing for sure is that he doesn't have a mandate to take the UK out of the EU. His own words make his position a sham. All we've had is bluster and guff let's see how it stands up when questioned.

Nah, not scared anymore. So many morons in the government that absolutely nothing can happen til the next election. Sit back, relax and watch the **** show!

I am quite scared, I have to admit. However, by promoting a bunch of ambitious but largely clueless yes-men and women to his cabinet, and banishing all the intelligent talented people to the back benches, it looks to me like Boris has made it harder for himself to achieve anything with the consent of Parliament.

He will be able to cajole, bluff and bully his cabinet but he won’t be able to impose his will on the HoC. Now we’ll really find out what the Mother of Parliaments is worth.

Turning Point? A deeply sinister far right student organisation with a history - according to former employees and activists forced out for not being extreme enough - of racism, dishonesty and intimidation.

Not that far from the Hitler Youth actually.

It beggars belief that these young people are conservative to begin with. Very worrying. Perhaps at this stage they are "naive" but as they read more, broaden their experiences, they will be more critical of extreme Conservatism/Soft Fascism

Colbert pretty much gets this one right too. Comedy often goes into places that serious people dare not enter:

Stephen Colbert and Trevor Noah are wonderful. I love their satire aimed at Trump and Johnson. Have there ever been two so-called leaders who have attracted the satirists, the comedians wrath, the cartoonists, as much as these two?

Of course there is a mandate.

Really? From whom? The narrow majority in a fraudulent election with voters mislead by the media, Barclay bros, Rothermere and Murdoch and the discredited statements of leave politicians? It was all going to be so easy what could possibly go wrong?
