United fans have generally been pessimistic about any incomings this summer, due to the guy negotiating the deals.

Somebody sold The Sun a real turdburger with their 'exclusive' that Maguire was having a medical at United last Monday ... Leicester Mercury have been bang on in their reporting ... as I mentioned they would be. <cheers>

Tbf knowing Woodward he probably was booked in but Woodward has gone back to Leicester with a higher offer since then and your board are all scratching their heads.

I genuinely don’t think we will sign anybody else in this window. Woodward is a colossal ****wit who is taking direction from even bigger ****wits. It’s highly likely that things will get toxic inside Old Trafford very quickly, the Glazers will feel the pinch when the fans drive the club’s value down with the negative publicity.

Spurlock, Dier Hard and Skylarker like this.

  6. <doh>
Yeah, because the clubs of those players will roll over and let their prize assets go to you for cheapskate prices.

Ed the mong was probably hoping he’d keep the fans on side. The only way the fans stay on side is if Ed is sacked and the Glazers **** off.

He does seem stupid enough to think that simply employing Ole would placate the fans enough.

That’s what happens when you put a banker ****er in charge of a football club. He’s probably wasted over £500m. Anybody else would have been shot and put in a hole.

Maths (and footie) ain’t your strong point is it Kipper ?

Palace have put an £80m price tag on Zaha. Barca have put a £60m price tag on Umtiti. So if for example we spent £60m on Umtiti or Dias and £20m on Ziyech or Soares. Then how much does that comes to ?

No chance...not signing anyone else would be tantamount to sacking OGS.
Imho, united will bid for Alderweireld tomorrow or Friday as you desperately need a player in the middle of your defence.
However, the over pricing of Lakakua (excuse spelling) and the Pogba saga could kill your chances of strengthening your attacking options.

I think we plan on keeping Pogba regardless of offers now, and Lukaku will be gone without a doubt.

Greenwood is Lukaku’s replacement so it’ll make no odds when he goes, even if our window is shut the Italy window is open for another couple of weeks afterwards.

I don’t think Toby is an option either, I think Tuanzebe will get a chance if we don’t buy a centre half.

Looks like Everton might move for Zaha. Him, Richarlison and Gylfi could be a decent trio. Silva building quite a good squad there even with Gueye’s likely departure.

Think of the top six challengers, they’re the best bets to break it in my opinion - providing they pull off the Zaha deal that is.

Especially if they nick Arsenal’s number one target.

There’s also been whispers in recent days on Twitter that Utd might move for Aubameyang once they bin Lukaku.

That would be funny as ****.
