Here's a rock I found in the garden. Was hoping to @PISKIE would be able to tell me what period this rock Is from. And if it has feelings for the reddish small stone I moved it way from yestderday.

Looks like a piece of granite to me mate. Probably from the late paleozoic era around 300m years ago.

And yes it’s a proven fact that granite has feelings and can suffer from separation anxiety. I would recommend you slowly introduce a piece of slate next to that granite rock mate <ok>

I’d happily live in the gym if I had unlimited phone battery and stopped getting forced to do things.

Apparently where we are going is much fancier than where we are now, which is crap.
Can think of nothing worse at 7am than being in a gym tbh
Also a cold windy wet beach. <laugh>

Have fun:bandit:

If you weren’t a geologist I’d claim it, but I’ve only seen it on my phone so I’m gonna fess up and admit I took a punt.

It ain’t granite is it ? <laugh>

Its a pretty poor photo but I think I can see biotite (little blac bits), quartz (clearish glassy stuff) and feldspar (opaque white bits) so it probably is. I was pretty impressed.to be honest.
