Yes, I put it on the season thread. Idah lead the line for 75 minutes, scoring a brace. Hernandez and Pukki scored the other two and Byram had an assist. https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/canaries-sc-bonner-match-report-1-6163876
There’s good news in terms of injuries too. Ben Godfrey has had a scan and doesn’t have a fracture or ligament damage, so should return fairly soon, which is fantastic news. Kenny McLean, Alex Tettey and Mario Vrancic are suffering slight injuries but should be able to join in next week in England. Tom Trybull woke up with a back problem but should be okay sooner rather than later. Louis Thompson’s hamstring injury looks likely to keep him out for a bit longer though – the kid just can’t catch an even break, can he?!
He certainly took his chance yesterday with two goals, but he also showed a lot of awareness and his interplay with others was good, like in the first game when he laid the ball off to Stiepermann rather than shooting himself.
For a player who is so pacey, and great finishing, kind of like an Earnie or Bellamy. But he's a tall lad! He looks like he's got some good bulk to him. Fast and not going to be easily barged off the ball is exciting.
NORWICH (4-2-3-1): Krul; Aarons, Godfrey, Hanley (C), Lewis; Trybull, Leitner; Roberts, Stiepermann, Cantwell; Pukki. Subs: McGovern (GK), Byram, Hernandez, Heise, Srbeny, Idah.
Is that tonight's line up? Godfrey?! Bloody hell. Surprised and worried. That's a very quick return to a start! Fantastic if they think he is match ready, already!
I have been tricked with these before when the clock runs out nothing happens. Apparently you can sign up on Shalke site to watch but i can't find the page.
