If Maguire joins United there’s a certain assumption that he will be our captain or our number one centre half etc etc

The Iceman will be our best defender for years to come, once has he a good enough partner who is not a ****** or a crock then he’ll thrive. There’s a reason Barça want him and probably 100m+ reasons why they can’t have him.

As much as I would prefer he stays, I think he would be a great acquisition for you ... he is a leader on the pitch whether captain or not and he leads by example ... he'd soon make your sulky types snap out of it ... <cheers>

If I could choose anybody? De Ligt but he’d have to come after he’d severed ties with Raiola. Obviously that isn’t going to happen now.

I don’t really buzz off signing Maguire but it’s nowt to do with the fee and I think he’s a huge improvement on Jones/Smalling/Bailly, so if it happens it happens.

He improves us no doubt. Couldn’t care less about the fee. He’s at a mid table club now so let’s see if he steps up when playing with better players, like Van Dijk did.

Have to see mate ... I've not seen enough to judge ... he was man of the match at ours last season and he scored on his debut and was very lively.

.... but Tielemans is a great signing and I like the young lad we've got from Luton although he may need to wait his opportunity

No mate ... he might struggle to get game time ... hence the point <cheers>

Love the lad for what he's done .... just hope he doesn't feel he has to go somewhere like Southampton to guarantee getting a game ..

Tielemans was there last season so you’re not having him.
