I for one wish our former manager Mr Bruce all the worst luck in his new job. I earnestly hope he fails miserably in his new venture. I don't hold grudges normally but will make an exception in his case.

For all the endless boasting since Bruce left ... '10th place finish' etc, we should remember a couple of things. During his 'triumphant season' we were in a relegation fight most of the season. Newcastle were in the bottom three until Christmas and finished well when some teams pulled their Speedos on. And, of all the clubs Bruce has managed, his lowest points per game was with Sunderland. Yet he sees his time at Sunderland as our glory days, what a deluded man ... ... he'll fit in perfectly up there.
