Decent enough day. Ideally we'd only be 4 down rather than 6, but hey ho. Berg is having to play makeshift no.6. By far and away the highest scoring D1 first day. And even when including D2 matches too, still the second highest scoring day. Tiny glimmer of a chance of getting all 5 batting points, but at the very minimum we should be taking away 4 batting points.
Us winning with maximum points and Somerset and Essex losing their games might just resurrect our CC season, but it's a long way off of that yet.
Was there for 3 hours this afternoon, Organ fought hard, but played and missed so many times he may of used all his luck up.. Holland batted like a seasoned pro.
