I've switched my day off so that I can be at home tomorrow, but the Birmingham weather forecast isn't great. I hope that if they lose significant time, it's sufficient for it to be carried over to Friday, rather than have a reduced overs target for the team batting second.
Great win for NZ today, if we get through to play them at Lords you wouldn't want to be batting first with their naggingly accurate bowlers on a wicket that often helps bowlers early on...
You keep saying that, but it looks ok to me. Overnight stormy showers should clear through by the morning and then a 30% chance of a light shower during the afternoon. Should be ok.
I don’t think it looks bad at all, perhaps a shower early morning. Mind you both the weather apps I use, the BBC and the one which come with the phone, have been ****e at predictions for the last few days, consistently underestimating the temperature and overestimating the chance of rain.
I use the Met office app which is reasonably accurate. The BBC stopped using the met office and went cheaper. Their forecasts are now pretty crap.
Cheers I’ll download that. On Sunday the BBC said overcast and 19 degrees maximum and it was 24 and sunny. I got burnt as a result.
The one I looked at forecast showers till about 3pm, then clearing up. Let's hope your superior forecast is correct, Col.
Never said it was superior to yours. You'll probably be pleased if it's rained off now, just so that you can tell me I was wrong.
You need to change your app, Strolls. Thank the lord that Col is more informed. Met office says rain at 6am and only 10% chance of rain from 7am onwards after that. Not saying there won’t be interruptions but hoping for a full days play.
All hail Col and the Met office app. Hail as in praise that is, not pellets of frozen rain (hopefully).
