How about recognising that the huge majority of Muslims just try to live their lives like me and you. The poor families that suffered in the atrocity in New Zealand had never hurt anyone. Spouting this ridiculous bile doesn't help anybody. Surely we are all better than that. Hang your head in shame, the world will never get better unless we come together and face up to the hatred that tears us apart.

That’s probably the best post you or your alter ego have come up with so far :).
Why do people have to do that ?

(Seems if you reply to a blank post the original doesn’t show )

Getting feisty on here tonight. I missed the great debate on purpose and have been listening to music during the news. Who won, dumb or dumber?

Apparently people of Chinese origin earn more than the rest of us. I sense a pogrom coming on in Hartlepool.

So Labour now want a referendum on a 'Tory #Brexit', and would campaign for Remain, but if they win a General Election they'd negotiate a 'Labour Brexit', which would also go to a referendum, in which they would campaign for... Remain, against their own deal. Is that right?

One of my brothers-in-law is a plasterer, about 15 years ago he was earning up to £400 a day working as a sub-contractor on building projects for some of the companies involved in PFI contracts, in the space of 18 months that daily rate was halved by a massive infux of East European workers as in may other building trades. Ultimately he had to sell his house and move into rented accommodation when the banking crash impacted the trade as well.

I spent 30 years working in Local Authority Facilities Management, the strange thing was despite these massive reductions in labour costs, the like-for-like cost of these projects actually rose massively in the time from their inception in the late 90s to the time they ultimately caused my redundancy in 2012. Companies such as Balfour Beatty were being awarded packages of new build contracts in dozens rather than individually with all the lucrative Facilities Management contracts written in as well yet many, such as Carillion, got greedy and hit the buffers. The number of other beneficiaries of such schemes is mind-boggling and that is before a brick is even laid...

Great-great-grandfather WestWindsR probably undercut the local jewellers in the east end though they’d all come from the same village in Poland so it’s fine.
