Clearly Mike Ashley has no ambition for the Toon. We are currently the only PL club NOT to sign a player and I see today Leicester, Not content with Ayoze Perez, have now signed Teilemans for £40m. I can see us being 20th this season with our Championship squad unless the next 4 weeks bring us unexpected hope. If Ashley is still here when the season starts I fully expect a half empty SJP and then dwindling further. Enough is enough.
you're right here, it is the social aspect that keeps me going, although I don't drink myself, I enjoy other peoples company
I'm feeling positive personally. The takeover is on and we will soon be unstoppable. If it falls through then we still have a great owner, who runs us responsibly. We've got enough to stay up and trust him to employ the right boss as Benitez has shown him the way. All in all life is great and NUFC are kings of the world.
Oh No, I knew it wouldn't be long before the name of Steve Bruce was mentioned in the press due to his experience ( yes, Championship) Can't see myself as the fat controller would need to pay compensation.
I’ve said it before and I will say it again. Ashley is a twot. Just needed to say that really. Nothing to see here. ****er..... Ashl....****er.
It is no secret down here that we would like to sign Gayle.Going in the other direction you are interested in our full back Joe Bryan. It is reported to day that Allardyce has refused the job over your clubs recruitment policy and that he would have little if any say over signings. This begs the question. With the new season a month away who currently decides who joins the club and who leaves? Is it Charnley, or is there another mysterious figure in the background? I genuinely feel for the way that your club is run - you deserve better!
Well basically any new manager will be 'handed' a 100m transfer budget that they are lucky enough to look at, maybe even hold, before handing it back to Charney so we can spend 30m of it
On the anti-positive, there could be zero incomings, lots of outgoings, no spending, cheapo manager, and Ashley could still bank £100m+ this season and £40m parachute cash next season.
