I'd have de Laet ahead of Ward personally, he and Whitbread would be my personal choice at the moment, though if he continues to make these basic errors that cost us goals pretty much every week (regardless how well he plays the rest of the match) I may have to revisit that opinion.

The only time in my life I have discussed logic was donkeys years ago at University when a Nutty Professor who lectured in the Classics or Pure Maths or some similar very clever, but completely impractical, subject spent a couple of hours explaining how, logically, it was impossible for the Human Race to have evolved as it has and therefore it was logically impossible for us to having this conversation. By the end of our discussion I was completely confused and my brain had started to hurt!! My brain has just started to hurt again.

Rudd was only involved due to Ruddy's one match ban. To dink a poor backward header onto Odemwingie's foot and then lambast a 'makeshift' 'keeper by calling him a tw*t (as I've heard reported) is disgraceful. What kind of message does that send out to his team mates, the fans - or the rest of the premier league?

If they think they can see a chink in the armour, you can bet your life they'll try every trick in the book to exploit it.

I don't agree with everything Sid said, but I can certainly see where he's coming from.

:emoticon-0118-yawn:At least Rudd is ours, De Laet will probably go on to bigger and better things but we need a leader at the back to keep him in line...... The rest of the squad must be sick of his Man U stories by now
