By replacing that player with someone who's not even necessarily of the same quality, but buys into the 'side before self' philosophy and has the respect of his teammates, then performance levels as a whole would rise.

One question. With Pontus seemingly gone, do you think the squad as it currently stands looks stronger or weaker than last season?

For me if the Pontus thing hadn't have happened we were stronger than last season. This fiasco has thrown everything up in the air and cannot be good for moral at TA. I believe Pontus has unfollowed all Leeds players and everything to do with the club.

and if rumours and these are only paper rumours are to be believed, Rangers could go for Roofe if they lose one of their strikers and Villa want Philips. <wah>

Jennsen I think will decide he won't go to Brentford and what kind of message is being sent out when you can buy him for £5m and reading further Roofe to Rangers for £5m its a fire sale! Phillips to Villa for £5 next!
Are we worse off than last season you bet we are .How can White be as good as Pontus whom teplaces Roofe for 5M The bookies odds must now have moves south to say 10/1

Now hearing that Pontus has accepted a long contract and over £20k per week. So money talks as usual. His brother has now come out of hiding and told some Leeds fans that at some stage the reasons will be made public?

Roofe posted a photo of himself holding his shirt saying wow 3 years ago....
 
How much is Roofe on per week at the moment? At Rangers our top earners are probably on somewhere around £20k, possibly rising to £25k. We just signed Aribo from Charlton, apparently hes on £20k.

If Roofe is offered around £20k per week plus the thought of playing for a massive club in front of 50k fans every other week, playing in Europe, playing for Steven Gerrard. He could be tempted.
