    I used to enjoy a game of golf. I can't now as my knees are f..ked through playing sport. It's OK if I've got a buggy. Cricket was the sport I was best at (Cheshire and Combined Universities, few for Lancashire 2nds). I think that's probably why I love it so much. I've now got a feeling we might beat Warwicks.

    You've clearly never heard of the Ryder cup. Considering that a large majority of this nation is made up of complete ****ing chavs who cares what it thinks?     What about the ryder cup? Its the golf equivalent of the LDV Vans Reserve trophy at the end of the day.

    Why does quite rightly saying golf is **** make someone a dickhead? I mean whats its appeal, what has it got that makes it stand out?

    Man hits ball with some form of stick......been done better in other sports, hurling for example, ice hockey etc.

    Calm collected atmosphere, a sport for kings.......Tennis has this and is far superior.

    Heroes and people who capture the imagination......nope, football does but golf.....the most interesting thing golf can do is get some idiot to wear stupid ****ing trousers.

    Look at the end of the day I think its **** like most people do. We are continually told how great it is but its just lies. There is nothing great about golf at all, not a single thing. If anything its an up your own arse type of pastime.
