Our activities have been unusually slow this summer. City are already very strong and they are going to become stronger in 2019/2020. To beat them to the title we have to buy very good players, at least two. To cope with the league and cups.
I don’t believe that we’ll sign nobody. A few kids verging on the first team squad, yes but am sure we’ll also buy real quality.
To dethrone MC we need to be very good, half of those draws last season we need to win them.
I agree and I do not think we can do it if we do not add more quality. City will get between 90 and 100 points again. We were very lucky with injuries this year.....Perhaps we’ll be lucky again this season.....perhaps some of the kids will step up but that would be leaving a lot to chance. Others will be stronger too.....we simply must buy.
