I can't wait for this to be over, I absolutely hate the NUFC fanbase when things are in motion at the club. Not the informed people on here mind, or the average folk who go to the games and maybe pay a halfhearted interest in football, I mean the frenzied morons who can barely type in English who descend upon social media like a plague. How this country has lasted so long and somehow remains successful with such mouth breathers wandering out our cities is downright baffling. These fans latching onto ever snippet or whiff of news and turning it into a frenzy are contributing to the problems at this football club, not at all helping.

I hate to be disrespectful towards fans, but man, making up nonsense conspiracy theories pretending a cabal of billionaires sit around a darkened room trying to ruin their day. What's more likely, Mike Ashley is a successful yet sloppy business man in an industry he should never have entered, stuck in an investment he has lost faith in, or he is sitting in a room rubbing £50 notes on himself thinking up new and interesting ways he can disrespect a bunch of working class joes who have no idea how the club even paints the white lines on the grass. If new owners come in, we need to work on the culture of the fans as well, we simply have a very, very toxic group. How this can be done, I am unsure.

Well said.
Folk put too much stock in twitter.

The way I look at it hes saving what, £8-£10 million a year with the free advertising.

Are you in some way involved in the takeover. This argument you put is far to sensible and factually correct for you to be a NUFC fan.......

Sorry sorry I've just had too much vodka on my cornflakes.

Lets get back on track. Mike Ashley is a ****, he has ****ed the takeover with his lies and he has also shagged the daughter of one the BZG execs. He did it on purpose as he knew it would scupper the deal. He has also demanded that the BZG head honcho wears SD flip flops for the next 10 years. Every day. All the time.

So exactly what are you saying?

That’s the spirit. See it comes to us all. Now let’s all sit with our pants around our ankles, some lube and watch the women’s semi final.

Who the f*ck wants to watch a bunch of flat chested, carpet munching, split arses trying to play a man's game.
I'm going to watch the documentary on misogynism on channel 4.

If we are selling Perez then the deal to sell the club is clearly off. The self imposed transfer embargo is lifted so Ashley is going back to his tried and trusted plan of selling the family silver.
I see this as a cunning move by Ashley to cash in on Perez in anticipation of a no deal Brexit. Perez value will plummet when he is denied a work permit as he is not a current Spanish international.

I presume the Perez transfer means the takeover is off? I would’ve thought a transfer embargo was in place if a takeover was happening or is that just in place for incoming transfers??

I take it that will rule out most of British football then? Jesus wept
