No but some of us were saying we need to see them and then judge them. I remember the uproar at signing Bertrand who had been **** for Villa and the “lump” from Feyernoord.

I wasn't happy with the Bertrand signing (it was initially on loan I think with £10m to make i perm and I said something along the lines of "well at least we won't be making it perm")

He was very valuable to us and I am sure he respected my detailed critique of his unlucky flicks that I now realise were only made to look poor by Mane’s lack of movement....
