Sounds like you're becoming the Boris Johnson of the CCFC Not606 board masky.
The popular guy that becomes leader but can't command a majority.<whistle>
The board would be chaos, just like british politics.
    And NO, we're NOT leaving Not606 without a deal.<yikes>

Masky and remote - normally to be a leader you have to have some sort of status like a Vicar or something....<whistle>

Having a flock to follow where you lead can be rewarding especially when exercising your powers over any who dare to tread on your pastures.

The Cardiff mods are merely servants of their flock who only exist to assist - but only when called upon to do so.

    Amen.

Ah well guys, it's 9pm on a lovly midsummer Sunday evening in the New Forest, lasagne and Chianti dispatched, and it's now out onto the patio for coffee and the Remy Martins.

The four dogs are at my beck and call - two of them are chasing balls around the lawn - daft buggers don't know when to pack it in - and the other two are making the coffees and pouring the superb grape product as I type.

It doesn't get much better - I just knew stepping in that horse **** yesterday was lucky. <ok>

Bluey - noticed that from Masky, but I'll have to let it go - having trouble typing whilst throwing a ball and drinking the same time. <ok>

Just had a pleasant morning in Sparkey home territory. 5k Parkrun at Porthcawl followed by coffee and bacon sarnie at Cosy Corner with my fellow Brackla Harriers then off to the real Sparkey turf of Newton.

The wife of a mate of mine performed with the Rock Choir to open Newton Fayre then went up the Old Sailor followed by a pint of Stella in the Ancient Briton. <cheers>

Back to Porthcawl tomorrow morning for the first official Porthcawl 10k since 1995.

Tomorrow afternoon will be mostly sleeping.

This retirement lark is bloody hard work. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Nice one Bluey. <ok> Just one point though.

Hope you didn't go up the Old Sailor pal - he's actually the Jolly Sailor and wouldn't be very Jolly if you'd gone up him.......<laugh>

Also hope you didn't despoil my home turf in Newton whilst I'm away - we are quite particular who pisses against our walls.......<laugh>

The landlord of the Ancient Briton is the son of one of my friends and he's been doing a good job there for a few years fair play.

Enjoy your run tomorrow and the drink after - hope you don't mind but I'll just be enjoying the drink. <ok>

Fair point Sparks. The Sailor wasn't that Jolly. <yikes>

Don't worry treated your patch with utmost respect. It would have been a bit obvious taking a leak up against a wall with a few hundred people milling around.

Nice pint in the AB. They had a good bbq going on outside although I didn't partake. Got to look after my diet and figure for tomorrow.

Will be running into the middle of Newton then down Beach Road, along the coast path then through Costa del Trecco. Hard hat and running more quickly time while trying to avoid the young ladies returning to their abodes on the walk of shame.

Will need more than a pint or two to rehydrate if its sunny tomorrow.

Don't let me stop you. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Have a good 'un - I know I am, and that's without the running bit.......<laugh>

Well done BFB. I marshalled at the Cardiff Parkrun yesterday as I was doing the Cardiff Epic Trail up at Fforest Fawr this morning. A few steep climbs on that one! Managed not to finish last Luckily it was well shaded with lots of tree cover. Hope you had a good 10K at Porthcawl ‍♂️‍♂️

Cheers Irish. Well done for marshalling. I've done it a few times and thoroughly enjoy it.

Porthcawl was f'ing tough. The start was delayed 30 minutes due to traffic congestion and then the bloody sun came out - just when you want some cloud cover and a gentle breeze. We had to stand in the sunshine waiting for the start and the guy on the tannoy was saying it was perfect weather. He's obviously not a runner.

I wanted to get under the hour but failed by 1 minute or so.

Knackered after and sat with a thousand yard stare unable to talk. Even worse the free beers for finishers had run out by the time I went for mine. Mean buggers.

Feeling a bit better now at home in the sun with a nice glass of Shiraz. <ok>

To put it in perspective, the first 2 did it in under 30 minutes. #bloodyracingsnakes
