As Labour staff members, we’ve written to Jennie Formby to demand that the decision to readmit Chris Williamson to the Labour Party be overturned. He has a pattern of antisemitic behaviour and his presence has created an environment where we are made unwelcome at work.pic.twitter.com/aY4hlgzbL4

i think you could be on to something here as all the molly coddling
Outstanding reply, again shifting it out
of context, your probably one of The namby pamby brigade I mentioned.
No actually I'm a primary school teacher with over thirty years experience of seeing children being on the wrong end of being phsyically assaulted and many of those who that happened to were those who assaulted their children.

Uncle Tom.

nice one stroller
i thought it was only the nasty right wingers who were racist

The term "Uncle Tom" is also used as a derogatory epithet for an exceedingly subservient person, particularly when that person is aware of their own lower-class status based on race.

Dammit, forgot to put the smiley face again. You nasty right-wingers are so sensitive.:emoticon-0100-smile

The rise in violent crime is not a London phenomenon, it's country-wide. The Tories have cut police by 20,000 nationwide and you blame London's mayor. Is Khan to blame for stabbings in Birmingham and shootings in Liverpool? Maybe Khan could have done more, but the core blame lies with central government.

Again no mention of the Home Secretary! Funny that! Surely reducing police numbers cannot be a good thing in fighting crime! The 'considerable' police numbers in London have been slashed in recent years. It's called austerity and it's the poor as usual bearing the brunt of it.

The stabbing situation is far worse in London than the rest of the country. The London electorate will make a decision on Khan's time in office. The general feeling is that he is taking money he could use to help to stop this violence and channelling it to pet projects like "diversity", cycle lanes etc. Even people like David Lammy are complaining that he seems indifferent to the number of violent deaths in London so far, not attending funerals, seeing families of the deceased etc. On violent crime, Khan is "hands off". It's not an easy game to play at a time of austerity, but taking that into account, he is playing his hand badly.

Interesting that this comes at a time when so many people are now leaving London, and blaming violent crime as one of the key factors in their decision to go.

Lighten up Goldie, it was posted in jest. People don't seem to get my ironic posts.

Having said that the fella was trying to defend Johnson's 'piccaninnies' article, which is worthy of ridicule.

If you want to ridicule his comments, do so with reasoned argument. What you said is no better than those types that accuse some black people of being choc-ices. That goes far beyond irony imo

I remember Prince JugEars going to someplace like Papua New Guinea years ago in which he made a speech in pidgin English, announcing himself as something like, “Me the piccaninny de Mrs Quinn”.

Look up piccaninny and it just says ‘small black child’. Didn’t suggest it was racialist or nuffink.

Interesting you should say this, Uber, and that Stroller "likes" your post. Because Cleverly made a similar point and Stroller called him an "Uncle Tom" for saying it

If being a snowflake is not holding with people making accusations against others because of their colour, then I am
Surely Strolls post was more in respect to Cleverly's obvious subservience to Johnson? rather than his race. I've not read Johnson's article so don't know if what Cleverly said is accurate (suspect it will come down to whatever people want to believe) but the Johnson he describes certainly isn't the Johnson I'm aware of.
