Should I be bothered by how many kids he has? May be the kids or their mothers don't want me to know.
Who was asking for their names? Just being honest about the number would be fine. Nobody is actually interested in his ‘private’ relationships, just his relationship with the truth. The kids thing wouldn’t be a thing at all if he just said ‘I have five or perhaps six kids, by two or perhaps three different women. I still don’t know how to use a condom’. Lying about his private life to his boss has already cost him one job.

We are going to have another Tory Prime Minister. Why should we have the worst possible one?

I'm coming to the conclusion there are two types of politician at present. The lying, scheming bounders and the naive, decent pushovers. The public seem to think we need the former to deal with the scheming bounders in Brussels. I don't think they care about how many kids he's got.

Or whether he is an habitual liar. We have our own, ersatz, bollockless Trump.

Good, this **** can’t last much longer.

Surely the character of the man likely to PM deserves to be fully examined, which it won’t be in a Tory leadership contest. Johnson, when asked in an interview about what his beliefs and convictions are replied with a joke about a speeding ticket and refused to go any further. He needs to be confronted about his lies which have led to two sackings, his chaotic private life, his record in public office, his contradictory statements, his ill thought out insults to individuals, nations and cultures etc.Things which in most jobs wouldn’t be relevant are for this one. And the Tories will be better off having these interrogations now, because the opposition parties will show him no mercy at all, quite rightly.

Unless they think he’s like Trump and can get away with anything, all the bollocks is already factored in. Personally I don’t think he has anything like the Teflon appeal of Trump, who is at least consistently outrageous and hideous, and judging by his performance in the debate he is not trying to be the disrupter, the British Trump or Salvini.

How many kids have you got Boris?

He probably doesn't know the answer to that question himself. He's got away with the bumbling jokey image for so long now but he's somehow gained a cult following among Tories. It'll be interesting to see how he performs as PM, he might surprise but I fear it won't last long and we all could be losers as a result...

Oooooh, looks like the government have been unlawful in selling slaughter machines to the Saudis, but that's ok, because it's been wholly profitable.

Politicians are so reviled and in the main inept that someone with a personality, who sometimes speaks out of turn, could make an interesting change.
Obviously, if the nation's security, or the security of individuals is put at risk then he won't last long.
He will have people around him desperately trying to keep him neutral till he's elected.
Not comparing the two men in any way, but Churchill was also ridiculed before he tackled the biggest national threat that we'd faced in a good few hundred years.
Boris may just have the balls to get the Brexit job done. In that regard, I hope he's not reigned in too much.

Still find the knicker twisting from the anti-Tory brigade regarding Boris most amusing.

Dont think you have to be anti-Tory to get your knickers in a twist over Boris becoming PM mate. Any sensible person can see he is not fit to run a yard never mind the country!

Hats off to the audience and especially the two angry women on QT. It's about time they were shouted at with some logic. Full credit to them.

As I've said before mate, I'm no Boris fan, but I have a sneaking suspicion that he may surprise people as PM.
On the other hand........
