Funnily enough, when they used to play each other years back in the past I was very much on England's side. Then one match England scored and I was super pissed off. That's the day the Italian genes properly kicked in. I just enjoy whoever wins. Definitely a win-win for me. Tbh, I don't want them to play each other unless one gets knocked out. Then I wish it was the other one that did it. Complicated eh?

Yep I get it. In a knockout I want England to win, but if they don't, I haven't lost lol.

Still plenty of games to go. Hampshire off to Essex on Sunday where the forecast is thankfully ok. You don't play so we can apply the pressure with a win.
That went well then, just the 3 bowling points. Somerset still 23 points clear with a game in hand.

Next week could be interesting. It's scary how many wickets Harmer has taken at home this season already. If you can get through that - surely the toughest test in county cricket this season - then the title is yours to lose.

Interesting to note that Hampshire's wicket takers were all seamers, Essex's Harmer and a supporting cast. They will be a real threat in the second half of the season. Could Essex be docked some points for a sub-standard pitch, or was it just down to a lack of preparation time due to the weather last week?

12-61 is pretty impressive, even on a dodgy pitch! Hopefully the ECB tell the Chelmsford groundsmen to get their act together before Sunday.

Not to mention 8-80 and 11-170 in their only other two home games. 42 wickets this season - including those 31 at home - when only two other players across both divisions have even reached 30.

Bangladesh thrash Windies by 7 wickets, equaling their second-highest runchase with 322-3.

Windies in real trouble now with 3 points from 5 games.
