Happy Fathers Day to one and all, Fathers & grandfathers, and I know there have been quite a few new ones over the last year, so extra special day for some! It’s your special day, enjoy, chill out, relax and don’t lift a finger, pretty much a normal day then, like everyday, for some??!!

Special thoughts also for loved ones no longer with us.

Fry up cooked for me by the missus. Sausages overcooked to the consistency of leather. Bacon undercooked. Like it had been boiled. Eggs a little snotty. Other elements done to decent standard. 5/10.

Then changed my youngest nappy. **** explosion. Covered from shoulder to toe. Somehow I'm the one who hosed him down.

Overall the day has room for improvement.

That's how she likes her sausages cooked. Just wait till mothers day.

The bairn started that way. I managed to quite successfully carry him under one arm to the bathroom before depositing him in the bath.

This post is reminding me about a thread we had several years ago about ****ting yourself.

I remember playing with my. Lad and lifting him up above my head, like you do, and he shot a load of puke out.

I was laughing at the time mouth open and it shot down my throat. :emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0119-puke:
And he's still not woke up or texted me yet today.

My first father's day and I was allowed a lovely lie in until 8am (that's genuinely a lie in for me). My gift is that I get to spend the rest of the day on my own while my wife looks after the baby. I mean, as gifts go for an introverted 31 year old, it's up there. Then we're going out for dinner to the Duke in Skirlaugh for my old man's present from me and our kid. Might even sneak a beer.

3 wonderful kids, 3 beautiful grandchildren, another granddaughter in a cpl of weeks... my cup runuth over..... thank you!!!! Mind you Father’s Day and I’m in Newcastle rendering my lads back yard wall....
For those with a sewer for a mind.. rendering is plastering with sand and cement...just for clarity!!
