I watched it in the Plasterer’s Arms (with obligatory pizza and chips!!) and there was barely standing room. They very sensibly didn’t have any ales on that were high ABV, so I was still quite sober at the end of the evening.
We’d several choruses/chants of Yellows, Teemu Pukki Baby, We’re Going Up etc and 'On The Ball City'
You can see why Liverpool had such a low goals against total – Allison was BRILLIANT.

Although I was wanting Liverpool to win I have to say that the pen was a farce. If Sissoko had his arm amputated at the shoulder joint the result would still have been the same. Once given I was confident that VAR would rule it out. Poor game overall.

AMAZING in-depth analysis of Emi Buendia from Argentina - https://totalfootballanalysis.com/p...norwich-emi-buendia-efl-championship-analysis and well worth reading!!! :emoticon-0102-bigsm
I particularly liked this excerpt -
As mentioned in the subheading, one of Buendía’s strength is his positional awareness. He usually attacks the space behind the defensive line and drags the line with him. It would create a gap between the lines for his teammates to move in and provide support. This is an effective strategy to build up attacks against teams who play with a low-block. At the same time, it causes frustration for the defenders that marks him, and he is left with no choice but to foul him. On average, he managed to draw 2.57 fouls this season.
In the situation below, Buendía had a deeper starting spot compared to Aarons. But the Argentinian ran into the space behind Queens Park Rangers’ defenders first and waited there. Godfrey’s long ball to Aarons on the other side of the pitch forced the defensive line to retreat. From an offside state, Buendía now ready to receive the ball because the opposition’s players were inside the box. It was a bit of a lucky situation for him, but it still shows how intelligent Buendía is to form that attack.

Nigel Adkins is set to leave Hull City, perhaps a move to West Brom?

I’m sorry ocf, but I can’t agree that they were 'poachers' goals' – the first goal he received a pass about 30 yards from goal, beat a defender and hit a wonderful shot and the 2nd goal was a fantastic chip over the keeper.
    Both EXCELLENT goals though!!!

Any aura he'd built up at Chelsea, Porto, Real Madrid etc was blown clean out of the water by his disastrous spell at Old Trafford, imho.
You've nothing to fear from him, Danny Boy <ok>

He was destroyed by a Pogba led player rebellion, something OGS is now experiencing. The sooner they get rid of Pogba, the better the team will fare imho
