Generally holiday destinations are the worst places to live, I thought we were talking about living somewhere? It's a pretty well known fact that the German way of life is better than what we get here. Everything from Nurseries, Uni's to employment opportunities are better. The argument is why would that bother football players... but it has a knock on effect for crime, healthcare etc. Go there and have a look, I was blown away and would happily move there one day.
Both are dead as competitions but Bundesliga doesn't have strong rivalries so Bayern just gets to buy any other team's best players every year
yeah if anyone's been through some of the places down south there... it's spectacular and you've easy access to whatever. if a footballer need a party life they can have it (they ought not btw) if they want exclusive mansions they can have it. if they want hot weather its extremly hot tbh. if their bint wants exclusive shopping etc it's there in spades I mean the reality of a footballer's life is not George ****ing best... it really isnt. in Germany you can prob go about daily life with minimal intrusion unlike Italy and Spain. all the best facilities etc. it's like this. you go to Germany... pick a town.. you can walk round without fear of stabbing or being robbed unlike London. everywhere is spotless, all built properly, no decay in buildings. last October we went and brought a group of yanks and we could walk him at midnight/1 am after the Germans absolutley got smashed and were setting drinks on fire to impress the yanks. one gobshits insisted on having a kebab in this Turkish place and I being a decent sort went in cos he was paralytic... they never even looked like trouble in there. just were laughing at the sizzles yank. we walked 2km back to hotel across housing estate, railway and past a factory... zero issues. zero. if you tried that night in England you'd have got done 3 or 4 times.
So no then.... getting hammered all the time then giving yp and deciding youre mates then begging for a bail out all the time is not a rivalry.
Having spoken with Schira to verify the report, we’ve discovered this information has apparently come straight from the player’s agents; but, as the Pépé story has been a volatile one, we’re still taking more than a pinch of salt with it! It remains to be seen what will happen with the 24-year-old Ivorian, who scored 22 goals in Ligue 1 this season. It has been a strange rumour full of twists and turns. On Thursday, L’Equipe suggested the Reds were “hot” on Pépé and in the race to secure his services. While today, The Mirror are suggesting Pépé has ruled out a move to the Premier League to sign for Bayern Munich.
“They may go out and surprise everybody and go and get De Ligt, Virgil’s Dutch team-mate,” Bent theorised on Sky Sports News via The Express.
ffs, I theorised this ages ago but it didn’t make the press. I also theorised we’d sign Werner which has now been confirmed by @Skylarker. My lay piece of theorising is that we will buy Coutinho back.
RMC's @mohamedbouhafsi on Nicolas Pépé: Liverpool are well positioned. Them & Bayern Munich are negotiating with the Ivorian. Not advanced at the moment, player wants thinking time. A big 3rd club is set to position themselves imminently.
