I’ve just been reading about the fantastic scenes at Blackpool on Saturday. An estimated 14,000 boycotting fans returned en masse, swelling the Tangerines usual home attendance from 2000 to nearly 16000
I’ve followed the Tangerine Knights & their other protest groups for a couple of years on social media. They are decent humble guys who have remained united and now had thei reward.
I fear that we are not going to get the same euphoric response when our equivalent day comes. 3/4 loudmouths will be busy climbing over each other as to “who knew first”, and Everitt will be submitting his customary open letter to the new owner setting out is list of demands (including a role for him of course)
Incidentally, I saw Everitt outside the Valley on Saturday in conversation with one of those Duchatelet employees he pompously describes as “the sensible fans at the club”

Our equivalent day isn't coming.
