Liverpool are happy to let Rafa Camacho ‘run down the final year of his contract’ if Wolves don’t increase their initial £10m offer.

Teenager Camacho seems likely to leave Liverpool within the next 12 months after he rejected their offer of a new contract earlier this year.

At CB we don't really need a player Gomez looked superb early season Matip brilliant in the 2nd half we'd be really unlucky to have both injured and even then Lovren is an amazing 3rd choice but I can't see him being happy with that role so is it better to have the Dutch kid fight it out with Gomez and Matip as back up? It's overkill imo. I say stay as we are and if Lovren goes then buy an old head as 3rd choice cover.

Midfield is very full I'd say we start with...

It'll change in certain games Hendo can come in as can AOC. Old man Milner at times is a good option. People are crying out for a Playmaker but isn't Keita and AOC already a different option in midfield? I just don't see us buying a midfielder unless we sell both Milner and Lallana.

Our front 3 is world class but this is where we need to buy, an injury to any of them and we have Shaq, Origi and an unknown Brewster.

The first two have shown that they can be both effective and completely useless. If we buy a forward who can play anywhere across the front we then have serious options and great backup.

So long story short, for me cover at LB and a class forward, that's it. Werner is who I'd like up top, no idea at LB.

lallana saying he is staying is a blow. imo we need him gone cos he's injured all the time and let's see Curtis Jones.

I agree on others. the squad needs competition not cover.

Well if he’s injured all the time then doesn’t matter does it as he won’t be available so jones will get a chance.

TBH. Now Moreno has left, I don't think any player fills me with dread.

The ones who I felt were too poor to wear the red shirt have by and large proved me wrong this last year. Everyone has stepped up their game. There are no scapegoat players anymore.

I still do not understand how people would love De light over Gomez. People are forgetting how until he got injured, there was even a case for Gomez playing at a level equivalent to VVD. He just had a freak accident not the normal muscle injuries that curtailed his season. If I am not wrong by December we had only conceded like 8 goals before he went down.

Our problems are not at CB but at cover for the FB areas as well as competition for the front 3. I would go as far as we need two FBs one AM and one versatile striker only from a signings perspective.

Perhaps Lovren wants out? Or Matip? There was some talk of this earlier in the season. <ok>
