Watched whole series Cherbobyl last night. Exceptional viewing.

One of the things that struck me as I was watching was an expectation that the Soviets would treat every casualty (either in the fallout or those sent in to fix it) as casual collateral damage. But instead everyone, from ministers to army and even KGB were shown to have a real question of conscience about the lives they were risking and those facing certain death. Anyway, wasn't what this brainwashed **** was expecting given the cold war.
