I think that you will find that this refers only to the administrative costs of applying for the certificate of naturalization, which are too high in the UK. anyway. This does not cover the issuing of passports which is extra. It also does not cover the costs of language tests, certified translations of documents from the homeland etc. etc. There is no mention of anybody being given nationality without having previously satisfied all of the other conditions ie. length of residence, proof of income, payment into National Insurance etc. etc. The costs of the administration of this in the UK. are totally unrealistic - 1,300 pounds for this alone. When I took German nationality the admin costs here were € 255.

No, not billions - that is a massive exaggeration because the take up of naturalization would not involve the whole 3 million - only those who qualify under all of the conditions. The 'take up' of naturalization of Britons in other EU. countries has been very small - about 50,000 out of 1.3 million. These admin costs were unjustifiably high anyway.
Not claiming a victory at all and I think the Brexit party did brilliantly I agree nothing has changed much apart from a no deal cannot happen It’s blocked imo and it will be interesting to see how the next phase goes I am hoping the Cons get what they deserve and split up If people still think after all of this that a no deal is the best way to go then I see that as complete foolishness

One of whom I’d barely heard of, and the second I had definitely never heard of, and have forgotten his name already. Who knew they had such depth of talent! At least a dozen think they are good enough to be your prime minister now. Presumably some of them won’t get enough MP nominations to even enter the competition proper. The front runner, baby rhino Johnson, has apparently been advised not to talk to anyone, especially those in the media, about anything, and communicate solely through his Telegraph column. For which he is paid several hundred thousand pounds a year. What a brilliant situation to be in, getting paid more than your potential salary to lobby ahead of your job interview! Only one way to sort this. Feats of strength.
