In all seriousness, it’s an atrocious situation where a player can’t play in a European cup final because he fears for his safety.
Probably easy for me to be so blasé about it but I think he should’ve gone.
Still a mental place for this final given their human rights record. I don’t have an issue with the location in terms of distance even if it is an arse of a place for two London teams to go.
If it wasn’t for the location I don’t think anyone would. Feels like a charity shield game.

If we win, not only is it a European cup, it's a trophy for Emery's first season in charge, it's a place back in the Champions league final and it means we have a bigger budget in the window and can attract better players
