Just for fun and to lighten the mood a but I was wondering who could come in on loan for us? I'm thinking of completely unrealistic players but with a plausible explanation as to why they should come.
Chelsea should loan us Fernando Torres until January because with only 1 goal in 22 games he really needs to get out and start scoring again. It would be beneficial all sides we'd get a top quality player who, although in a slump, would get 40 goals by Christmas. He also thrived on being one of the top dogs at Liverpool where as at Chelsea he is just another player. It would also rekindle his love for the game. For Chelsea it would just get him away for a little while, as he seems to be in danger of self destruction at the mo, and give the player a reality check as to how good he has it at Stamford Bridge.
He would return to Chelsea a rejuvenated player and full of confidence.
I think Paul Scally should sign himself on a emergency loan deal, he showed some promising touches in the cross bar challenge on Soccer AM and even quoted himself as being a 'fox in the box', personally I think we should see how he links up with Kedwell
Gills to get Rafael Van der Vaart on "mid-week" loan until January.
Having been left out of Tottenham's Europa League squad for the group stages, Rafael was very disappointed and is not looking forward to boring weeknights, sitting in the stands, watching his team mates play in a crucial cup competition.
Therefore, Spurs are releasing him to Gillingham to play in mid-week matches, including the big-money cup competition that is the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Rafael stated in a press conference earlier today "I can't wait to get my hands on that paint!".
He will line-up as usual for Tottenham in their weekend Premier League fixtures between now and the turn of the year.
