Shocking stuff, by UEFA. Such a long way to go with many logistical and financial issues. Doesn't matter who made the final, it was always going to be a disaster for the fans involved.

Funny that corporate cant even give them away though

I'm not so sure as this is only being raised because it's happening to two English clubs. We have this sense that everything should be at our convenience. You think about recent Finals with St Petersburg fans travelling to Manchester, Shakhtar fans to Istanbul, CSKA fans going to Lisbon fgs! Just the nature of a European competition. No one knows who's going to make the final and so it happens fans will be inconvenienced.

Except all those places are major cities and have the infrastructure for fans to get there. My understanding was that Baku is a right **** to get to

Neymar has been stripped of the Brazil captaincy for next month's Copa America and will be replaced by his Paris St-Germain team-mate Dani Alves.

The 27-year-old forward, given the role eight months ago but under pressure after recent disciplinary issues, was informed by manager Tite on Saturday.

Alves, 36, will also lead the side in friendlies against Qatar and Honduras.

He has captained Brazil four times, most recently in a 1-0 win over Germany in March 2018.

This month, French football authorities banned Neymar for three matches after he hit a fan following PSG's defeat by Rennes in the Coupe de France final.

He was also reportedly involved in a dressing room incident with his PSG team-mates.

The Copa America takes place in Brazil from 14 June to 7 July, with the hosts taking on Bolivia, Venezuela and Peru in Group A.

27 already? Bloody hell what a waste of talent.

Nah not really, that's just the perception. The only difference I think is the requirement for a visa. Not sure how it works if you're travelling from Russia into Europe for that matter.

Yeh when you compare him to true greats, he doesn't even come close.

Another who thought he was charlie big bollox without reaching his full potential.

Individually he's **** hot and has skills for days but he simply has a very bad attitude.

He wouldn't last a season in the prem before wanting to leave imho

Just had a look mate. Theres a direct flight to st petersburg thats 3 hours.

Baku is an indirect flight to budapest with a total journey of 9 hours.

Tbf all falling within 1 day but hardly a walk in the park though

Yeh because of course the need for indirect flights aren't because of a Europa League final tomorrow <laugh>

You think the same wouldn't have happened with thousands of Russians wanting to come to little old Lisbon in that final?

Edit: just checked and LHR to Baku any other time - direct flights available 5 and half hours.
can't find any direct flights from St Petersburg to Lisbon and the best flight time is 7 hours.

Yeh lol, it's Heathrow fgs direct flights to outer *****lia probably <laugh>

I looked back at what you posted and I think you assumed I also said about flying to St Petersburg but I hadn't. I was saying Russians travelling from St Petersburg to Lisbon when Zenit were in the final would've had one hell of a fckery trip.
