The guy is definitely a talent and the word is that Ralf wants to have look at him, hopefully he can impress the boss and get his chance to prove the doubters wrong.
658 posts and not a sniff of a signing. Running to form then.
Tbf to Godders, AFCB have already shelled out £13 Million for a player. I think Godders is pissed off with the same old, same old Saints posture. Yes, early days though.Could that be because the thread was started some 2 months before the window is open for transfers?????? Go back to sleep for goodness sake......
They're the only club to make an official signing i believe; not sure the swansea lad to Utd is confirmed just yet.Tbf to Godders, AFCB have already shelled out £13 Million for a player. I think Godders is pissed off with the same old, same old Saints posture. Yes, early days though.
Understood. I just feel Godders frustration. Saints have never been quick to the chequebook. They're the only club to make an official signing i believe; not sure the swansea lad to Utd is confirmed just yet.
A lot of league's are either still going or have only just finished. It is waaay to early to moan about lack of signings.
We don't even know all 20 teams that will be in our league next year!
Sofiane Boufal's close control, dribbling and ability with both feet can be frightening. If he has the right attitude, Ralph is the sort of guy who can get the best out of him.
I can't help but think a high intensity, fast pressing and quick counter-attack set-up would be absolutely perfect for him, where he's the out ball up with a striker, not sitting too deep in the midfield.
He just needs to work on releasing the ball faster. A lot faster.
A lot of people seem to mistakenly support the misconception that he's lazy. I tend to think he is just a bit petulant and he definitely needs to learn to release the ball sooner. Would definitely be willing to give him another go in the new system for next season.
Ralph’s preferred system has always been the 4-2-2-2, though...I can't help but feel he will struggle to get into the squad as his preferred position is where Redmond plays.
Though if anyone else is to get anything out of him I back Ralph to do it.
Pretty much as I remembered him. Incredibly talented individual but not much of a team playerI want to see Sofiane Boufal back at Southampton. Then again, we have Carillo under contract, and so we might as well give him a proper shot under Ralph too. Incidentally, here is some of what Sofiane has been doing whille he's been away:
You must log in or register to see mediaThat first goal you see him score is absolutely gorgeous.
I'll see if I can find a Carillo recent compilation.

In which case I could see him rotating in the two behind the forward with Redmond, Lookman, whoever arrives.

Have no idea, but is Boufal a grafter?
Do you know when the transfer window actually is Neddy?

Ok you pedantic sod Fatso..........18days.............
That’s a bit different to 2 months![]()
Like I said Boufal will get a chance as Ralph wants a look. Hoedt's attitude is why guy will be sold at a loss just to get rid off.
Which of course they’ll be happy to do I’m sure....Some guy on Twitter saying the hold up for Che moving away is due to Birmingham wanting Sheffield United to waive the 20% sell on fee.
