I'm pretty sure it isn't real mate. They might be buying a club in Malaysia but that club is not then buying Mangala for £450m ffs.
I know the £450m figure is exaggerated, but it wouldn’t surprise me if City did something like this where they buy a club and then ‘sell’ their ageing players to them for well above the market rate.
I think it's a bit presumptuous to think these ageing players will be happy going to Malaysia t play in a limited league. At least there's some growing market for football in China on a grand scale with high wages to attract the has-beens.
It's his money, if he wants to spend it, it's up to him. If he wants to buy 100m Man City tea-cosies from the club shop an dump them in the desert to flout FFP, fine, it's his choice. As long as he's using his money and not borrowing it against the club, which is what UEFA have tried to sell their big club protectionism as, where's the problem?
The problem is, a swathe of light blue tea-cosies in the middle of a desert may lead some poor unsuspecting Bedouin to assume the mirage created is a refreshing cool oasis. And when they get there they find the sad sight of Noel Gallagher singing his latest ****e. Wrong oasis!
Yep. Me, my son and a couple of mates plus best part of 39000 fellow addicks. Should be a good day, although I think we are in block 542 which is up in the gods!!!
I really don't know who I want to win in todays game; If we keep Charlton in League One we keep our nearest rivals If we keep Sunderland in League One, we keep a great club Whoever goes up, we will be losing a big asset to the League they are currently both in.
Been a couple of times and have only ever been in the top tiers. For those of us who support the lower league teams, we are used to sitting in the dug out, so anything further back than about 4 metres is up in the gods!!!
