Is this true or just convention? Not talking about reversing it, but what if you take away dolls and guns. Would they play with the same things?
I go by my nieces tbh, There's plenty of buy toys to choose from at granny's house, they play with the racing cars now and again, but they prefer the dollies and pretending to be mums, but never the guns. My sister played with dolls, but she also played with guns, played football, raced karts, and was set to be a fireman (or person) until an ear infection got in the way, so their preference isn't a parental transfer, (if they become triathletes, or racing drivers that will be a parental transfer, or uncle transference, as I'm working on the latter)
