He has been playing a more wide role than central though.

Zaha got off on the wrong foot at Man U and never recovered. I heard that in his first week there, Van Gaal offered the squad a "day off", noting that there would be a training session, but attending wasn't mandatory. Every single squad member, (bar Zaha) turned up...

Last thing I expected was us to be looking at a GK.....if true surly Fraz and/or Alex are set to leave.

You cant have enough keepers. Doesnt matter that you can only play one at a time.

Maybe thats his revolutionary strategy to improve our defence. Don't play any defenders just cram the goal with goalie's :)
 
Signing a keeper would be pretty stupid unless we are able to offload both Forster and McCarthy. If we get a combined £18/20m for those 2 as well as their wages off the bill, it could well mean we have more to spend elsewhere
 
Cant see us being rid of Forster.....McCarthy Yes......Forster has another year on his contract? He'll happily sit that out........as he has done for a couple of seasons already.
